Maritime Education and Training Centre Atlantis is implementing within the department of Marine Electrical Engineering and Electronics. By attending this course you will master the required knowledge to work with high voltage marine equipment, with special emphasis on safety, as well as the procedures applied prior, during and after working with high voltage equipment. The course consists of a theoretical part organized in a classroom and a practical part organized in a specialised facility, all performed in a safe environment.
The course is implemented pursuant to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers – STCW Ordinance (Manila Amendment 2010) table III / 1 and III / 6 section A-III / 1 and A-III / 6, guidelines B-III / 1 and B-III / 6.
The lecturers are experienced specialists in working with high voltages, electrical engineers with extensive experience in repairing malfunctions on ships.
